MMA or Mixed Martial Arts is a full-contact combat sport based on striking, grappling and ground fighting, incorporating techniques from various combat sports from around the world. Most famously hosted by UFC, MMA has become a very popular sport, and was ranked the third most popular sport in the world. Also, according to Sports Virsa, MMA is the third hardest contact sport to play in 2022. However, it is a sadly known fact that MMA fighters make less money than boxers at an elite level.
